Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Black Lives Matter

To our HRChat Community,

Our mission is to bring top HR Leaders together in a forum where we foster dialogue for learning, support, and development opportunities. We are leaders in courage, growth and empathy.

We condemn racism and discrimination of any kind. It has no place in our community and, as our guidelines state, we have zero tolerance for it. We stand with the Black Lives Matter movement which addresses longtime systemic and cultural inequalities in our society. We encourage our HRChat members to join us in supporting anti-racist efforts.

We value the diversity of our members and strive to build inclusive partnerships. Our community is committed to pursuing ongoing discussions of inequity and to providing resources that advance social justice. We are here to actively listen, learn from, and educate each other. We guide each other through implementing change. We embrace our differences and learn how to support those who need it most. We are building a platform that promotes a world that is equitable and respectful of others.

We are committed to creating an environment that promotes equal opportunity for all. We are taking steps to advance these goals by using our platform to highlight guest speakers and online panels, host engagement events, post videos, and more. We encourage dialogue that tackles racial inequities and diversity issues head on. Join the conversation by contributing to our #DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) channel and by attending our Diversity Discussion Events.

Respectfully yours,

Rob Stretch, CEO, Beryl Oremland, Executive Director, Community Development, & the HRChat.org family
